Timor-Leste, or East Timor, is the youngest nation in Asia. I spent three weeks there in February of 2020, just as news of the of covid-19 started traveling around the world. Overlooked by the world, the people of East Timor are hoping for the tourism industry to bloom and bring with it a bright future for the conflict-ridden country.
